Plant Based Peanut Butter and Strawberry Smoothie
This smoothie is plant based, low fat and vegan.
Did you know strawberries are full of vitamin C, manganese, folate (vitamin B9) and potassium? Amazing, how so much goodness can get packed into one beautiful strawberry.
For this recipe, I replaced my “normal” peanut butter with powdered peanut butter. Doing this, reduce overall calories and fat calories. One tablespoon of powdered peanut butter has about 25 calories and 1 gram of fat. Compared with 1 tablespoon of “regular” peanut butter which has 94 calories and 8 grams of fat. Don’t get me wrong, I love peanut butter and will still be slathering and dipping it on just about anything.
However, for those days or occasions where you want something a little less calorie dense. Powdered peanut butter is a great option!
Plant Based Peanut Butter and Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 Frozen Banana 🍌
- 1 1/2 Cups Frozen strawberries 🍓
- 2 Tbsp. Powdered peanut butter 🥜
- 1-2 pitted Dates
- 1 1/2 Cups water
- 1/2 Cup Plant based milk
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Enjoy!
